Location of Sagarmatha (Everest) National Park :In northeast Kathmandu, Solu Khumbu district. The nearesl town ,and airport is Lukla(a 50- minute flight away), situated at a height of 2850m (9350ft);regular air service from Kathmandu.
Climate of Sagarmatha (Everest) National Park: In summer, above 3000 m (9800ft) : 6 to -10°C (43 to 14F): below 300m: 10 to -5°C (50 to 23°F). In winter, above 3000m: 0 to -25°C (32 to -13°F); below 3000m: 5 to -21 °C (41 ° to -6°F).
